Refund & Return Policy

Effective: January 1, 2025

Cheqit wants you to be satisfied with every purchase. This policy explains when and how you may return items and request refunds for orders placed on our marketplace.

Standard Return Window

Most items purchased on Cheqit may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received. Some categories have different return windows or may be non-returnable (see below).

How to Request a Return

  1. Go to Orders in your account dashboard.
  2. Find the delivered order and click Request Return.
  3. Select a reason and submit your request.
  4. You will receive instructions within 2 business days.
  5. Ship the item back using the provided instructions.
  6. Refund is issued within 5–10 business days of return receipt.

Non-Returnable Items

The following categories are generally not eligible for return:

  • Perishable goods and food items.
  • Digital downloads and software licenses.
  • Intimate or sanitary goods.
  • Items marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable.”
  • Customized or personalized products.
  • Hazardous materials.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact support within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.

Refund Timeline

Once a return is approved and the item is received:

  • Credit/debit card refunds: 5–10 business days.
  • Store credit: within 1 business day.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Cancellations

Orders in “Processing” status may be cancelled from your order page. Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled and must go through the return process. Refunds for cancelled orders are processed within 3–5 business days.

Vendor-Specific Policies

Individual vendors may have additional return conditions listed on their store pages. These conditions may be more restrictive or more generous than the platform defaults. In the event of a dispute, Cheqit’s platform policy takes precedence.
